“Ayra shall be open to all parties who have a direct stake in its mission; it shall give equitable representation to all such stakeholders; and it shall not give preference to any single stakeholder or group of stakeholders.”
It was important to implement this principle from the very beginning of the Ayra Association. This is why the Phase 1 governing body, called the Member Advisory Council (MAC), needed to consist of equal numbers of Ayra Founder representatives and Ayra Ambassadors. Achieving this balance between commercial interests and the public interest is vital to building sustainable governance for decentralized digital trust infrastructure. Stay tuned for more updates on the work the Ayra Governance Team is doing to form a long-term nonprofit governing body.
